Through out most of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" Harry is struggling with the choice he has to search for the Deathly Hallows or the Horcruxes. Above I've drawn (in sketch book first, then scaned and colored in photo shop) 2 horcruxes and 1 hallow. oh yes!
Don't understand it? Go read the books!
I never use textures, but this one got the better of me. The background is from a grunge photo pack by I found it when they got a DD. I'm still not comfortable with textures, but figured I'd give it a go.
I'm not associated with JK Rowling, or her books. obviously.
I'm a big HP fan myself! And, I think the way you drew these were really cool and awesome. Of course, I'm new here, so I'm getting look around before upload my pictures of sunsets and all that. But, this is really good! I like it very much.
I drew it in pencil first, in my sketchbook. Then I scaned it in, and using a pen tablet colored it using photo shop elements which came with my tablet. Its like the low-end photoshop but it does the trick. You also don't need a pen tablet, i used to do computer coloring/drawing via mouse all the time.
ah MS Paint, I used to use that back in the day. (: Good luck.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
